Douglas Atkinson, CEO

Doug brings over fifteen years of sales and marketing experience to his role at LeadSpark. Before launching LeadSpark, Mr. Atkinson led the sales team at e-Dialog, an online marketing technology company with offices in Lexington, Massachusetts and London, England. At e-Dialog, Mr. Atkinson served as Vice President of Sales and Strategic Alliances from 2000 to 2003 growing sales 700% over three years. As a key executive in the start-up, Doug built a multi-channel consultative sales system that streamlined lead generation and prospect management. He also participated in the development of e-Dialog's market leading proprietary technology platform.

Prior to e-Dialog, Doug worked as a consultant to Interliant Corporation - the leading Web hosting consolidator funded by SOFTBANK. He led the development team in charge of building and managing the company's e-commerce Web site.

Before his work at Interliant, Doug was selected by Massachusetts Governor Paul Cellucci to serve as Director of Communications for the MassJobs Council. Working on a national employment initiative funded by the US Department of Labor, Doug managed the development of one of the first web-based job banks in the country.

Doug also has an extensive background as a political strategist and campaign manager having served as Field Director and Special Assistant to former Governor of Massachusetts William F. Weld.

 
Karin McCarthy, VP - Administration & Finance

Karin has been with LeadSpark since our inception in 2003. She brings to LeadSpark exceptionally strong management skills and 20 years of experience. Before joining LeadSpark, Karin worked as the Director of Corporate Relations for the University of Massachusetts. Working out of the President's office, Karin directed efforts to market UMass to the Massachusetts corporate community and to build partnerships with established, new and emerging businesses and business sectors. Under Karin's leadership the UMass system realized millions of dollars in new business partnership activities.

Karin's has also directed numerous high profile, multi-million dollar economic development programs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In this capacity she has managed complicated funding formulas, tackled the challenges of "start-up" operations and shown tremendous initiative in creating successful business operations. She has also traveled extensively across the USA as a consultant working for Governors and state Workforce Councils assisting with the development of workforce development programs. Karin has an MBA from Boston College and a BA from Colby College.

 
Fory McCandless, VP - Operations

Fory joins LeadSpark with more than 25 years' marketing services experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and IT/Telecoms sectors. He has directed the call centre expansion capabilities for marketing services agency Epsilon Data Management; served as an independent consultant for Siemens and GlaxoSmithKline; and partnered with numerous sales support and marketing operations companies where he has built customized call center solutions that help clients gather and interpret marketing, sales opportunity and customer behavioral data.

Fory brings a breadth and depth of knowledge in the areas of process standardization; quality management, staff mentoring and coaching, and client service.

 
Marc Hodgson, Director of Sales

Marc brings over 10 years sales and services experience in the banking, financial services, HR and technology sectors. He has managed and worked in the development of sales teams for Fortune 500 organizations, Ford Motor Company and Capital One Financial as well as start-up organizations in the commercial and residential lending space, where he has had a consistent track record of top individual and team production achievements.

Marc brings deep knowledge and high standards towards the execution of consultative and solution selling with particular focuses on; the voice of the customer, efficient performance and strategic process improvement, and towards building a corporate culture that re-enforces those methodologies.
